The symbolic gate to the city centre
The symbolic gate to the city centre
The impressive Hi Piotrkowska stands out against the vibrant scenery of Łódź as the symbolic gate to the city centre. Hi Piotrkowska consists of three buildings, the tallest measuring 84 metres. This multifunctional office and services complex dominates the skyline with its striking 20 storeys. In addition to the trio of buildings, an accompanying seven-storey hotel and five-storey office block are located along Piotrkowska Street, one of the longest shopping streets in Europe.
The architecture of Hi Piotrkowska combines innovation and tradition. While the main and accompanying buildings have a contemporary feel with their modern silhouette and rhythmic façades, the smaller structure with its eclectic architectural style blends in with the surrounding historical buildings. This creative decision, made in close cooperation with heritage conservationists, lends the complex a unique connection between the past and the future.
The use of durable materials with low emissions in the public spaces highlights the building's commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness. This is also evidenced by the BREEAM Excellent certification, which confirms the complex's excellent performance in different categories such as energy, ecology and materials – not least through the use of energy-efficient and Cradle to Cradle-certified window and façade systems from Schüco in the form of special constructions.
