Reliable, robust and energy efficient – thanks to the special construction principle with a high proportion of aluminium, innovative centre gasket concept and two insulation zones, the Schüco AD UP door system combines a high level of stability with excellent thermal insulation. A patented hybrid insulating bar reduces the bimetallic effect. The door system is also impressive in terms of ease of access and burglar resistance. A visually perfect door design is created by combining coordinated door frames, leaf frames and door infills. The door infill, integrated in the frame of the active door leaf, is the most important styling element. With leaf-enclosing door infills (mounted infills on one or both sides), concealed door hinges and different leaf types, the system also offers visual design freedom and combines high-quality door design with individual special features.

Convenient door communication and secure access control allow a traditional entrance door to be transformed into an intelligent building access point using modern technology. The groundbreaking design of AD UP allows for myriad design possibilities within the platform while ensuring minimum complexity in planning. A double insulation zone and a centre gasket which is part of the system standard make up the modular gasket system, which serves as the basis for flexible and individual thermal optimisation and increased energy efficiency.

Sustainable from the very start

Our approach to 360° sustainability is to consider every stage of a building throughout its lifecycle. We therefore develop all of our products in accordance with the Cradle to Cradle principle and ensure that they can be easily recycled at the end of their lifespan. The materials are then fed back into the industrial cycle to be used in new products, without any loss of quality. This principle turns buildings into valuable material reserves for the future and helps to significantly reduce CO2 emissions.
