Object description
Object description
The university college building designed by the Belgian architects Johan Bosschem, S.A.R. Architects, and Jan De Vloed, De Vloed Architects, is appealing owing to its dynamic form and strong identity. Situated on a busy street, it provides noise protection and serves as a screen for the campus. Several volumes containing a cafeteria, as well as several classrooms and offices, join together under a giant roof. The latter merges on the street façade, which consists of anthracite-colored zinc plates. The library forms the center of the campus. The façade was executed using the Schüco mullion-transom FW 50+ and FW 60+ façades.
