Notching and compound-mitre saws

Modern Schüco notching and compound-mitre saws for perfect profile cutting

Schüco notching and compound-mitre saws are designed in particular for metal fabricators involved in the processing of aluminium, window, door, façade and special profiles by a manual or automated process. Notching and compound-mitre saws are tried-and-tested machines used for all kinds of construction with aluminium profiles.

Ideal applications

Schüco compound-mitre and notching saws are generally used for metal materials – aluminium in particular is the staple material of Schüco customers.

Schüco notching and compound-mitre saws are used primarily in the construction sector to notch profiles. The profiles are used in the construction of windows, doors, façade profiles and special profiles.

Professional sawing at different levels

Saw units can each be set up differently to allow different notches to be cut into a profile. Depending on the operating set-up, the vertical saw blade can be set manually or automatically to different angles, for example. It is also possible to set intermediate angles, which are set from a scale.

The ability to swivel the material stop shoulders to extremely small acute angles allows for a diverse range of machining operations. The profiles being notched are securely clamped in place. It is important for both saw blades to run in opposite directions to avoid the cut material getting dragged in. Moreover, since the two saw motors are separately controlled, it is possible to use just one saw unit of the notching and compound-mitre saw and to produce acute mitres and mitre cuts in two planes.

Advanced fabrication capability

With its metal saws, Schüco is one of the leading manufacturers of machining tools. The range also includes notching and compound-mitre saws. The stand-out qualities of these special saws for machining aluminium profiles are their fabrication quality and precision. Thanks to their design and the profile fixing facility, corrective cuts do not have to be made, thus optimising the production of aluminium profiles in construction.
