Object description

The Aircraft project is an inviting seven-storey newbuild with a U-shaped layout. At its centre is the reception area, with the entrance visible at ground level. Yet its two wings seem to leave the ground the further forward they come. The same sense of movement is repeated with the façade. The base structure is a compact all-glass unit, not dissimilar to a crystal with sharp edges. However, these areas are peppered with elegant white stripes, which bring a vertical emphasis to a building that is, in truth, not particularly tall. At the same time, this seemingly incidental ornamentation of the façade lends the building a pleasing lightness.
