Modern building envelopes reliably perform a variety of tasks today, over long periods of time and in all climate zones of the world. They also offer a high degree of creative freedom with attractive surface finishes and impressive designs. On the technical side, a wide range of standards must be met, whilst special constructions and new solutions often require individual testing. All of this necessitates an intensive examination of the materials. For decades, this is why Schüco has coupled all product developments with its own tests in a technology centre which has constantly grown. After two years of construction, the Schüco Technology Center is now even bigger and better in 2012.
