Glass that tints dynamically for use in Schüco window, door and façade systems

With the trailblazing SageGlass® glass solution, based on glass that tints dynamically, Schüco windows, door and façades can be electronically darkened or lightened silently and according to requirements – either automatically or manually via a button or touchscreen. Natural light and thermal heat absorption as well as glare protection can be controlled individually.

Unrestricted views to the outside are maintained at every stage of tinting.

Improved thermal insulation, security and fabrication

The optimised Schüco AWS 75.SI+ (Super Insulation) standard window system for the 75 mm basic depth is part of the Schüco AWS system platform and forms the basis for a range of applications in energy-efficient building envelopes. Depending on the architectural requirements, the highly thermally insulated aluminium system can be used as a punched opening, ribbon window, façade insert unit or in combination with Schüco door systems.

An additional benefit for architects and specifiers is the wide range of opening types such as tilt/slide vents, bottom-hung toplights or horizontal and vertical pivot vents.

Door and wall construction for multi-functional fire and smoke-protection applications

The proven Schüco ADS 80 FR 30 (Fire-Resistant) door system with a basic depth of 80 mm, which is based on highly stable 5-chamber hollow profiles, features impressive versatility in terms of application, function and design.

For additional requirements in building security and automation, the highly stable aluminium systems for fire and smoke-protection applications can be upgraded to multi-functional doors.

Fire protection for 30 minutes of fire resistance – can be seamlessly combined with standard façades

The Schüco FW 50+ BF fire-resistant façade is fully tested in accordance with EN 13643-3 and provides 30 minutes of reliable fire resistance in the vertical and roof area, including protecting building roofs and inside areas against fire risks. It meets the requirements of fire resistance classes EI30 and EW30.

The multi-functional aluminium construction is visually identical to a standard Schüco façade and gives specifiers and architects new design freedom with generous dimensions.
