Motorised Venetian blind – concealed in the Schüco AWS 120 CC.SI composite window system

The Schüco CCB (Concealed Composite Blind) sun shading system is a Venetian blind, fully integrated in the Schüco AWS 120CC.Si (Composite Construction Super Insulation) composite window system, which can be used regardless of wind loads and weather influences due to its protected position.

The aluminium louvre blades made of a special alloy can be raised and lowered, as well as opened and closed in any position. In this way, the attractive, high-quality system with high functionality offers efficient sun shading, glare protection and screening alongside the best views to the outside.

In addition, installation in the vent in the space between the single glazing on the outside and the insulating glazing on the inside means that the top profile of the Venetian blind is completely concealed. Furthermore, a minimal stack height is achieved when the Venetian blind is raised and, when the blind is lowered, it prevents light coming through the sides.

Fabrication benefits

  • Venetian blind uses a quick clip-on installation system – no screwing or drilling required
  • Secure installation through exact positioning in the composite window: Venetian blind dimensions can be determined automatically from the composite window dimensions
  • Connection to power supply via integrated plug-in contact between the top profile of the Venetian blind and the window profile
  • Programming of end positions not required
