Nordic Tech Tour

On Our Way to the Future

6 weeks, 3 countries and one truck - our Tech Tour Truck made its way to Norway, Sweden and Denmark and convinced around 50 customers of our digital solutions and machines. Self-sufficiently equipped with the automatic locking bar machine LA10, the gasket cutting machine GP100 and numerous software solutions, we advised customers on efficient window production and digitalization.

Bringing innovations closer

In keeping with our motto "On Our Way to the Future," we've spent the last six weeks on an exciting journey through the breathtaking countries of Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Our mission? To present our products to our international partners and support them with concentrated know-how.

With our chic, compact truck, we were right on the spot, in the yards of our valued metal construction partners. This means we were always in close proximity to the minds that run the estimating offices and production halls. This allowed us to not only answer current questions, but also share valuable tips and advice with our partners. The roads of the north were our track, and our truck was our race car. We made the roads unsafe in order to support our partners in the best possible way. Because we firmly believe that the way forward is together.

In these six weeks, we have not only covered miles, but also strengthened important relationships. Our truck is equipped with an LA 10, GP 100, Fabrication Data Center plus, Internet of Façades and other software solutions.

"The Schüco Tech Tour is a great concept. We are happy to welcome Schüco and the Truck at our company and appreciate the presentation of their newest products and innovations. We learned about new interfaces and features and will implement them into our workflow. Especially the advantages of the IoF Tag stood out to us."

Partner visits in detail

On the road with our 3.5-ton truck, we were perfectly equipped to provide our partners with detailed insights into our products and to conduct goal-oriented discussions. Our visit began with a crisp, all-encompassing presentation that transformed the truck into a true showcase of our innovations. Here, our partners had the unique opportunity to experience our locking bars up close and personal, as well as to install custom gaskets in window frames.

We then conducted an exciting showcase of our digital products such as SchüCal, Connect and IoF. Our dedicated team members demonstrated the numerous benefits with lively examples that made it clear to our partners how these technologies can enrich their everyday work. This allowed our partners to immediately see the value they can add to their own businesses.

One of the great strengths of our Tech Tour was the opportunity to discuss individual questions about our comprehensive machine portfolio or specific SchüCal functions directly on site with our partners. This meant that our presentations were not just superficial, but could really be tailored to the individual needs of our partners. A real added value that accompanied us on our journey.

"The Nordic Tech Tour was a special event for Schüco because we had the unique opportunity to present our products so close to the customer. One moment that will remain in my memory is when we were able to manufacture the locking bars for an order directly in our truck for two customers. There is no better showcase to present the machine."
