Renovated harbour mill becomes office building
Renovated harbour mill becomes office building
Odense is a city on the Danish island of Funen. The city's canal port was built in the early 1800s and has now become a modern neighbourhood with historical flair. A number of old buildings have been renovated, modernised and repurposed, such as the erstwhile brick harbour mill on Havnegade (the waterfront promenade), which was converted into a shining white office building.
Panoramic window with louvre blades
All the windows were designed with the Schüco Danish Panoramic Window (DPW) aluminium system. It stands out with its extremely slimline profile design that perfectly matches the Scandinavian architecture. Maximum light incidence is guaranteed thanks to the face width of just 27 mm in the frames and 41 mm in the louvre blades. The window system also has an outstanding energy balance and thermal insulation values.
Developed especially for the Danish market, the Schüco DPW window system is very similar to the Schüco AWS 75 PD.SI window system.
